1Zero9 is a small studio — currently just me, Stephen Cranfield — building bespoke AI systems and custom software for people who need something built around a real problem, not squeezed into a generic tool.

I care about the whole stack of a product: the thinking before the first line of code, the architecture that keeps it maintainable, the design that makes it feel inevitable, and the details most people never notice. That's what a solo studio gets you — one person accountable for the whole thing, not a project handed between departments.
