Key Features & Outcomes

  • A guide for the people who live in Tadworth Village, not a business site: things to do, groups, news and local history
  • Every event, group and story is marked as sample until it has been checked, and nothing goes public until the owner says so
  • While it is unfinished the full site stays private behind an email allow-list, with a second check in the code that refuses by default
  • Planned: a simple write-a-post screen, so the people running it can publish news without touching any code

The idea

A place guide for Tadworth Village in Surrey, for the people who live there: what is on, who to ask, where to walk and how the village came to be. It is a guide for residents and newcomers, in plain words, with each fact marked by how sure we are of it.

Where it is

Work in progress. Only a holding page is public. The full site is private while its sample content is replaced with facts that have been checked, and it will not go live until the people it is for are happy with it.
