Key Features & Outcomes

  • Tracks streaming, AI tools, and household utility subscriptions in one euro-denominated ledger
  • Multi-device cloud sync via Supabase, with an offline localStorage fallback
  • Flags redundant subscriptions — e.g. running ChatGPT and Claude concurrently — and annual-plan savings opportunities
  • Installable as a PWA on iOS and Android

The idea

Every household loses track of what it's actually paying for — a streaming trial that never got cancelled, two AI subscriptions doing the same job, a broadband contract that rolled onto a worse rate. Home Alone is a single, honest ledger for all of it.

What's inside

  • One ledger, every renewal — streaming, AI tools, and home utilities (electricity, broadband, water, property tax) in a single chronological payment schedule with renewal countdowns.
  • Redundancy checks — flags overlapping subscriptions doing the same job, and calculates annual-plan discount opportunities.
  • Sync without lock-in — Supabase-backed multi-device sync, with a local-storage fallback so the app still works with no account configured, plus CSV export and JSON backup.

Why it matters to me

A deliberately small, personal tool — light-mode by design, built for five-minute check-ins rather than a finance dashboard you have to sit down with. It's still under active development, currently running as a household tool rather than a public product.
