The idea
Job boards are noisy and ATS-scraped listings go stale fast. Vecta goes directly to the source — real ATS feeds from the platforms companies actually use — and layers a fit-scoring engine on top, specifically tuned for AI/ML, cybersecurity, governance (GRC, NIS2, AI Act), and IT infrastructure roles.
What's inside
- Vector Fit Engine — scores each match out of 100 across skills, seniority caliber, and domain synergy, rather than a single vague percentage.
- Application Copilot — drafts a tailored cover letter and résumé bullets in the "accomplished X as measured by Y by doing Z" format, plus a STAR-structured interview prep pack per role.
- Company Radar — an ecosystem directory tagging companies by scale tier and compliance badges (EU AI Act, ISO 42001, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, SOC 2).
- Governance built in — a GDPR Article 17 one-click data wipe and Article 20 data export, plus an EU AI Act Article 50/52 transparency statement, live in the product rather than bolted on for a compliance review.
Why it matters to me
This is the same instinct as Astra applied to a different domain: take a genuinely tedious, high-stakes process — job searching in a regulation-heavy field — and make the AI's involvement legible and auditable rather than a black box. Still an active build, currently running on local-first storage with an optional Postgres upgrade path.
